This morning I jogged passed a hedge of lilac bushes. Though I was running late for my day, I stopped to pick a small bouquet. As I stood there, I breathed in the familiar fragrance. In an instant, I was a little girl again, sitting with my sister, Annie on our front porch. I wish this necklace would last forever Annie said.
